Myself and the staff at Skin Excellence Clinics are always fully committed to protecting the health and well-being of all patients and staff. It is therefore with much sadness that we have had to close our doors during this coronavirus pandemic. It was not an easy decision as we have a wonderful team and we really value our patients, but this is now a time for us all to commit to supporting each other, our families and colleagues through what is going to be a difficult period.
As many of you know I am a GP and have been for the last 30 years. As this situation unfolds and escalates, I am needed more than ever on the frontline to support my local community. These are going to be very challenging times ahead and together with my colleagues and volunteers, we are preparing to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our many patients. Amongst many other things, I have been in touch with my colleagues and suppliers who have stocks of protective equipment in their aesthetic clinics to divert these supplies to the NHS and their local community to help protect many frontline workers in health and social care.
We can all do our bit to support the NHS and social care staff and patients by practicing social distancing to save lives and reduce the spread of the virus and ‘flatten the curve”.
It is important more than ever that we are kind and supportive to each other whilst maintaining our own health through these difficult times.
Although the doors of our clinics remain shut for an indefinite period of time we will remain available to our patients for consultations and follow ups via either email at firstname.lastname@example.org, telephone 0800 2982391 or 07525268343. I am also able to provide pre-arranged video consultations via Skype, Facetime, WhatsApp or Zoom to discuss any of your concerns and the wide range of treatments we will be offering once our clinic doors reopen. These online virtual consultations are free of charge.
Many of our patients are keen to maintain their skin care regimes and we are able to post our range of skin care products as needed. If any patients would like to discuss starting our very effective medical skin care products, I suggest we can arrange a video consultation to advise on your concerns.
For our patients taking Bio-Identical Hormone therapies, prescriptions are being maintained but please gives us more time for processing repeat prescriptions.
Please let us know if there is any other way we can help and support you through these difficult times?
I cannot thank you enough for all your messages of support and encouragement, it is going to be a difficult and emotional time for everyone and we hope you stay safe and healthy whilst we navigate through these times as best as we all can.
Ian and the team at Skin Excellence Clinics.
