Clinics in Plymouth & Wells

Sexual Dysfunction can be a sensitive and sometimes uncomfortable topic for both men and women.

It’s why we offer professional advice and treatment. We have a range of different treatments for both men and women, which can help with a range of medical and cosmetic issues.

Privacy

We understand these conditions can be embarrassing to talk about. However, our clinical director, Dr Ian Strawford, has had a great deal of experience as both a GP and cosmetic practitioner. This means he is used to dealing with personal conditions with the appropriate discretion.

Sexual Dysfunction in Women

For our female clients, we have the O-Shot®. This treatment is effective in treating a range of common conditions suffered by women. This includes vaginal dryness, urinary incontinence and a loss of sensation. We also offer vaginal rejuvenation.

There are many reasons to why you may be experiencing these conditions – but childbirth and the menopause are the most common causes.

Sexual Dysfunction in Men

Named after the Greek God of fertility, our P-Shot® (P for Priapus), is a non-surgical procedure for men experiencing a range of sexual performance problems.

The P-Shot can be used to treat erectile dysfunction, increase sensation, as well as improving the overall size and shape of the male genitalia.

Our treatment provides long lasting results and is an alternative to medications like Viagra. It can also be used as a treatment for Peyronie’s disease.

Treatment

All of these conditions (suffered by both men and women) can be treated with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy.

The procedure is pretty simple – and we will go through this with you again in your free consultation.

First, we apply an anaesthetic cream to numb the treatment area. We then draw a small amount of blood from your arm (just like when you have a blood test).

Most of our clients feel little to no discomfort. Before re-injecting the substance into the area in question, the blood is placed into a centrifuge. We do this to separate the red blood cells from the essential growth factors.

Results

For the O-Shot, you should only need one treatment and should start to see the full benefits in about two to three months. The results vary from person to person, but on average last between one to three years.

For men, you could need up to three treatments to start to see the full benefits, but this depends on the problem that is being treated. You should see results in six to eight weeks. These will last up to two years – depending on the condition being treated.
