One of the most exciting developments at Skin Excellence Clinics is the introduction of JULÄINE™ of Sweden. Dr Strawford is the first doctor in the UK using this revolutionary collagen stimulating product and has already been seeing some fantastic, but natural-looking results. 

Developed by Nordberg Medical, the patented technology and revolutionary biomaterials gradually produce new collagen to naturally restore elasticity, hydration and volume to your skin. The poly-L-lactic (PLLA) injectable acts as a biostimulator to produce collagen for periods lasting up to 24 months.

JULÄINE™ is a second generation of PLLA in microspheres LaSynPro technology. Unlike other collagen stimulators it works through only pathways that produce healthy Type1 collagen, so there is no risk of inflammation, fibrosis, and nodules.

You have probably heard of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), but have you heard of Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)?

Conversations about hormonal changes, particularly around the menopause, have grown louder in recent years, with many women being prescribed HRT to alleviate symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. BHRT takes this a step further, prescribing the bioidentical hormones based on your symptoms and blood analysis. Furthermore, both men and women can benefit from this therapy.

Tixel and Mezotix are advanced skin rejuvenation treatments that use thermo-mechanical (heat) energy to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance. Both treatments are non-ablative and utilise heat-based technology to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating natural collagen production and enhancing skin renewal.

Mezotix is a gentler treatment, opening temporary channels in the skin to allow effective topical treatments and youth activating serums to penetrate more deeply into the skin. It achieves similar results to strong chemical peels without the downtime associated with acids.
